Painting the town leads to arrest of painted woman, Naples police say

A Naples woman was literally painting the town park Friday just before getting arrested, police said.

An 18-year-old woman painted her face black and white, dunked her hands in blue paint and then began painting a city park, Naples police reported.

A witness told police he saw a young blonde woman, later identified as Elizabeth Ann Peele, 18, of the 1000 block of 10th Street North, painting several benches, poles and tables of Fleischmann Park a light blue color, according to reports. She had black and white face paint on and light blue paint on the palm of her hands, he told police.

The park manager, a second witness, also told police he saw Peele in the large gazebo using a paint brush to paint her skin shortly after 6 p.m. Friday.

She left painted hand prints on three poles in the gazebo and white paint on three picnic tables, according to reports. Red paint on the tables at the park, located at 1300 Fleischmann Blvd., had been “picked off,” according to reports.

Property damage was estimated to be $1,000.

Peele was arrested and charged with felony criminal mischief.

Winchester Jr., told officers that Peele threatened him with and threw a kitchen knife at him and struck him with her hands.

Yeah, BIG DEAL. a Thousand dollars damage and the dammed people every where in public service wastes more than that just putting up a sign post, I think that maybe she should be put to cleaning up the mess she made and let us get to ridding ourselves of the people in government who are throwing our money away like it was Christmas every day.
