I have Nike golf shoes which are falling apart. The soles and uppers are fine. Nike junk.
shoo goo or gorilla glue
LOL!
It sounds strong and waterproof. I used it have some when I fixed a gutter. Thanks.
Obama is going to have everyone in flip flops/sandals/zories like the old Communist China.
Watch television. A lot of it. 500 channels. You will find the answer!
Any repair will be temporary at best. Might as avoid the frustration and buy new shoes now.
Donate your old golf shoes to the Goodwill and claim a big deduction a-la the Clintoons.
Say a few kind, prayerful words over the golf shoes and bury the Chinese crap out back. Take up target shooting.
Liquid Nails is too inflexible and brittle. I just used E5000 and it worked great. Shoe Goo I’ve barely had a chance to use before it sets in the tube. I don’t see how people can use polyurethane (e.g. Gorilla Glue) on shoes because it expands so much when it reacts with moisture.
try a tube of silicone bathroom tile sealant from Home Depot, clamp together with duct tape after sealing, wait a day or so for it to dry. that may work.
Where do you get E5000? Thanks.
I’m a Nike guy myself..all my canvas-rubbers are Nike. I even bought a rare, Nike rubber rain-resistant pair in Montreal while visiting family.
But heck, living in Mexifornia, it’s Footjoy all the way. I never went back to Nike golf. There are just Nike pairs that are not suited for specific sports. I play hockey and the Nike blades just suck. They drag on the ice and went back to Bauer.
Footjoy’s stuff is good. Bauer is top notch. Nike’s cheap soft golf ball is probably their best. One of two of their drivers are okay but most of their golf gear is junk.
Keep stuff like Shoe Goo in the freezer between uses, it lasts a lot longer.
I do not want the EPA to show up because the chinese crap probably is filled with bromine, mercury, you name it.
If the shoes have DDT then I may be able to salvage them to kill bed bugs.
I needed a dremel to polish the feed ramp on the Bushmaster. Sadly all my guns and ammo were lost in a boating accident.
Thanks. I just need to remember not to use it for icing on cakes or something.
I have to repair them because my tax money is keeping Obama and his cronies in the best finery including golf equipment.
Damn shame about the guns. Sadly, all of mine plus 6500 various loads for them sank off the coast near Santa Catalina. Boats will kill us both someday.
better not to golf
(just kidding)
Just sayin...
I repaired my work boots many times when I had a young family to feed.
