Would Jerry Jones Please Fire Wade Phillips? I Can't Take Much More of This!
FOX | 10-31-10 | my favorite headache

The Cowboys are playing beyond awful this season but today's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars is torture. Has a team ever in its history under-performed this much? There were expectations (real good one's ) that Dallas was going to host their own Super Bowl.

So the question is...will Jerry Jones fire Wade before the season is up? Ditto for Garrett? Us Cowboys fans can't take this any longer.

Yeah, but the 49ers would probably have a better record with Guillen as head coach.

Being a NY Giants fan, I’m enjoying the hell out of watching the Cowboys fall apart

Well when you arrive at the stadium in a “Peanuts” bus, it seems more than Wade needs to go. I am all for doing things for kids but when game day is here, things need to be business. Also one player arrived in a clown’s suit. Then a couple of weeks ago we saw pink shoes and towels. Their minds are not on football. Need a new start with lots of new players and coaches.

I think we are seeing today that Romo deserves more credit than he gets. He’s no Peyton Manning, but he’s a good quarterback. They can win with him. This game is showing how their defense is under performing, their O-line is pretty poor and receivers cost a lot of turnovers.

Absolutely time for a new coach. It took a year this bad to dump this staff. They have done just well enough each year to keep their jobs.

Yeah, Jerry is a mixed blessing. The guy LOVES his team, loves football, desperately wants to win, and is willing to spend whatever it takes - but he just won’t take a step back and let professionals run the show.

The Washington Redskins have been in the same boat. Snyder threw stupid amounts of money at that organization in terms of payroll, and they sucked pretty much every single year he has owned the team. Finally, for this season, he hired an actual GM and a professional coach - and the difference has been night and day. The Redskins aren’t great yet, they are rebuilding still, but they are professionally run these days. They don’t shoot themselves in the foot constantly, they don’t commit endless penalties, etc, etc.

As long as Jerry keeps operating as he is, Dallas will be a disappointment for years to come.

On the plus side, the Cowboys just made it to double digits on the scoreboard.

The Cowboys (Cowgirls?) are the most talented team to ever go 1-6 (after today’s game)... at least in my opinion. With the talent they have (even minus Romo, who I have considered over-rated for a long time), they should be able to win more than 1 game, even if they had no coach at all!

The Rangers have turned around since Nolan Ryan bought the team.

I am starting a petition for Roger Staubach to0 buy the Cowboys

The Cowboys will never be a great team as long as Jerry is in charge.....he will not be able to attract great coaching because Jerry will not let them coach......

Go Rangers !!!!!!

How Embarrassing!

I just looked up and saw a Cowboys receiver get hit square in the head with a pass! Completely oblivious!

The problem with the Cowboys is Jerry Jones.

Unfortunately, even zero doesn’t have the guts to fire a team owner.
