My dad is BnBlFlag. He had a massive stroke on Wednesday. Prognosis not good, but we are praying for a miracle. He seems to be responding a little bit more this morning than yesterday. He loves this place and spends tons of time here (he's retired). Every time I call him and ask what he's doing he say, "Just doing some Freeping!" So if you Freepers could say a prayer for him I'd be so grateful.
Yes, you are right! My dad raised me conservative through and through! We always enjoy talking history and politics.
In fact, the last thing he did on Wed was go to early vote. He knew he had to get that in I guess!
Prayers for your Dad.
Certainly adding my prayers for a fellow FReepers and for your family as well. May God be with you at this time.
Well, I hate to admit it, but I’m glad for that! :)
Lord, bless American72’s dad and give him healing, according to Your good purpose. Above all, let him know that You have redeemed us from our fallenness, that You are taking us to a place of ultimate healing and freedom, and that You are guiding and protecting us until we get There. Be with American72 with comfort, peace, and Your deep and very present love. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Done.
Prayers for your Dad and your family.
And Yes miracles do happen.
Tell him to "fight on Horatius"...he will understand.
Blessings.

I have prayed for your Dad and will pray today.
Keep us informed.
Sorry.
Prayers up for your dad and your family.
Lord, please to shield BnBlFlag and his son, and theirs, from the darkness, bringing them ever more surely into Your Light. Amen.
Sorry to hear of your dad’s stroke. Prayers of healing and strength go out to your father and your whole family.
I have crossed swords, so to speak, with your father on many a Civil War thread. I have come to know him as a gentleman and a man of high integrity and unfailing courtesy. Please be assured that my friend is in my thoughts and my prayers, as are you and your entire family.
A little prayer for your Dad, just now — and he will be in my nightly prayers, also. Good news that he is showing some response. Can you keep us posted on his condition?
Praying ...
Prayers up.
