I CAN'T WAIT TO VOTE NEXT TUESDAY!
I'm the kind of person who tears up when I step into the voting booth on the BIG day, so early voting, voting by mail... won't do for me unless unavoidable for some reason.
Anyone read anything by Ivan Doig? Saw a book of his at the airport bookstore, and it looked promising...
Also heard that Nook and Kindle are letting you share books with friends for a short time, it sounds like
GO RANGERS!!!
So is your mascot the Tiger affectionately named “Eagle”? And why can’t youse guys keep your animal names straight??? ;-))
Oh! And finally 0 did something I approve of: He’s gone on record as saying this election is about his agenda. WTG Zero! Thank YOU!
The One also did something I approve of the the other day by telling the truth: There were no shovel-ready jobs waiting to be funded by the Porkulus...never were, never will be...;-))
No.
We want to be different.
So far so good here but can’t believe how the wind is howling. Hope your power stays on and your maple holds up.
Yes, I guess it must be much tougher in these hard times, afraid to embarrass people or put them on the spot. It is a shame that this has to be a part of your ministry.
The next time you go all wobbly thinking about fundraising, just remember that there are literally millions of people out there with $$$ to give but just don’t know who to give it to who would use it in the right ways...so the next person you ask, just pretend that he/she is that person who has been searching for a long while for the right place for their donations...;-))
Great advice, Bit. I will work on having that attitude. Thanks.
Geee, most every organization does this. It also makes us more connected with individuals. People are interested in missions. This is one way that they can be a part.
Although a professional fund-raiser may be a help, too.
Go Rangers!! Besides I like Nolan Ryan.
I’ve been hearing about those winds, take care!
Mozie, how long have that many people been without power?
South Carolina people. GET RID OF THIS JACK***!!!
I’m watcing the Rifleman. I wish we had more Lucases today.
We do not. We’ve been thrown to the back of the bus.
I am currently reading "Washington: A Life", by Ron Chernow. It's very good, biography of George Washington. It's lengthy, I'm only 16% through it and I've been reading it for a couple of weeks.
I also downloaded a sample of "Half Broke Horses: A True Life Novel" by Jeannette Walls, so may start reading that to see if I want to obtain it.
Both books are on Kindle of course. With the Washington biography, I'm using the dictionary frequently. I love my Kindle!
Indeed. If the GOP doesn’t reign in it’s RINO’s, it’s doomed, IMO.
There is a famour quote....you all might know it...:-)
We the people......well the people are pissed.
Never type angry...
OK!
Love the flowers to Joy. You're so right - real class. Too bad she will never realize it.
Took my friend to the dr today for her post operative check-up and took Crimes Against Liberty with me to read. Well, dr walked into exam room, took one look at the book and started discussing it with me. He even left at one point and then resumed the conversation when he returned. He had NOTHING good to say about the Obama's and the Clintons! Haha
Oh he gave C onnie ample attention BTW. Her scar is minimal. Pretty good for back surgery.
Also Zachary's Confections (Chicago).....a family owned business since 1950!
They have their candy corn and pumpkins at my supermarket, Publix....
YAY!
