Jenn Sterger, the subject of the NFL's investigation into Brett Favre's behavior, would decline the league's interview request if she and the Vikings quarterback reach a financial settlement that would prevent her from any potential legal action against Favre, the Pioneer Press has learned.
The settlement would include a confidentiality agreement between the two that would effectively stop the NFL, which does not have subpoena power, from speaking with Sterger about Favre.
The NFL began an investigation Oct. 8 after Deadspin.com reported that Favre allegedly had sent inappropriate messages and pictures to Sterger in 2008 when he was the New York Jets quarterback and she was a hostess and sideline reporter for the team. Sterger now works for the Versus television network on the show "The Daily Line."
During a web chat Thursday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell classified the Favre investigation as a "workplace conduct" case.
Joseph Conway, Sterger's lawyer, said Friday afternoon that Sterger still was considering whether to speak to the NFL. A decision could be made by early next week, Conway said.
"It's an ongoing process," he said. "I spoke with the league today. She's still considering it."
Meanwhile, NFL security chief Milt Ahlerich has not placed a timeline on Sterger's decision.
Favre's agent, Bus Cook, who attended Favre's meeting with Ahlerich on Tuesday, did not return calls left by the Pioneer Press.

FOXNEWS producer Andrea Mackris, who filed a multimillion dollar sexual harassment suit against top talker O’Reilly earlier this month, has I.O.U’s scatted throughout the financial world, records show.
Mackris was making $93K a year when she returned to FOXNEWS in 2004 [she earned $69,088 in 2003], but records dated October 18 show she holds more than $37k in credit card debt, and $62k in student loans.
“It appears Ms. Mackris was living way beyond her means,” a source close to the situation told DRUDGE late Thursday. “She’s up to her eyeballs in debt.”
A spokeswoman for Mackris’ attorneys, Morelli & Associates, said the firm was unaware of their client’s heavy load and laughed off any suggestion her financial burden was a motivation for a cash demand from FOX.
Mackris, 33, and her attorney have been ordered to appear for a hearing in New York State Supreme Court next week to divulge whether sex phone tapes exist and “show cause” why they should not be opened to examination by lawyers for O’Reilly and FOXNEWS.

I’m saying she is just another gold digger. All she had to do was tell him to stop talking to her the way she claimed he did. She followed him to Fox just like Anita Hill followed Clarence Thomas. You don’t do that if you are truly being “harassed”.
Men know who they can “harass” and who they can’t by the woman’s own action. She was a willing participant of his “trash talk” and he and Fox wanted it to go away so he paid her off.

Who initiated the harassment? It certainly wasn't her. And then, she may not have been in a position to object. How many production assistant jobs(to a media figure)are there that are available to her if she chose to leave? Plus she was broke. In other words, she was trapped. BOR knew he was at fault, hence the confidentiality clause. BOR's lawyers thought she wasn't at fault. Fox News thought she wasn't at fault.

I’m not defending O’Reilly. I’m saying she followed him to Fox so I doubt her sexual harassment claim.
O’Reilly & Fox wanted the claim to go away so it was cheaper to pay her off.
