Dancing With the Stars week 5 performance show is Oct. 18, and it could mean that Bristol Palin is eliminated on Oct. 19. The past two weeks have seen her and dancing partner Mark Ballas consistently at the bottom of the weekly scoreboard.
Both times Palin and Ballas have been just ahead of the lowest scoring couple, getting saved each week, despite being placed in jeopardy by the combination of judges' scores and audience home votes.
Last week, Palin and Ballas were eighth place out of nine couples, just ahead of The Situation and Karina Smirnoff during week 4 of Dancing With the Stars. It was down to these two couples at the end of the show, and it was The Situation and Smirnoff who were sent home.
The previous week, Palin and Ballas were just ahead of Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel, but it was Cho and Van Amstel who went home. Now all of the low-scoring couples have been voted off the show, leaving Palin and Ballas very vulnerable at the bottom of the scoring so far this season.
As with any reality competition show, things can shift from week to week, and it could lead to Palin and Ballas putting up their best scores of the season.
So far in the season, Palin and Ballas have averaged a score of 18 out of 30, which isn't good by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe this is the week where they really impress the judges, though, making their elimination a rash prediction.
The Oct. 18 Dancing With the Stars performance begins at 8 p.m. on ABC, with the promotions for the show stating that they will all be dancing to TV theme songs.

Thanks for the ping...looking forward to another night of dancing!
I knews you weren’t dead
You're welcome!
Thanks for the ping!
Bristols quite good for an amateur dancer, and certainly better than at least half of the original 12 contestants.
Judges scores + audience votes supposedly determine winners & losers.
So far, dialidol.com has been good at predicting whos sent home each week.
Dialidol.com has also, every week so far, ranked Bristol in the TOP 3 vote-getters.
Yet the last 2 DWTS results shows made it look like shes ranked near the bottom.
The show generally refuses to reveal contestants true rankings, instead using the intentionally vague and maybe misleading term in jeopardy.
Are they trying to create the illusion that shes unpopular when in fact she seems to be, so far, among the most popular with the voters at home?
You're welcome!
Living in sin with Elvis.
Bristol turned 20 today. Happy Birthday....
Could we start a new thread and ban the word fat? Holy moly. She looks healthy! I think the kind of dance they do tonight should work for them.
Quite possibly...
From what I’ve read recently, this past year she has moved into her own apartment and has been attending college while working as a receptionist at a dental office, all while raising her son as a single mom.
Nice teeth.
Don’t go away mad just go away.
I agree. People are mean to Bristol who never had a dance class in her life, and she’s not fat.
How about sha has good marbling
