While I am no big fan of any bug, I go into total screaming fits at the sight of a cockroach. Even a dead one will freak me out.
I have no idea why, either.

When I was in high school the biology lab had roaches. Not small basic US ones. Some mutant species from China or something.
Anyways they escaped. We were finding them all over the school, and they didn’t scatter and hide when the lights were on. They didn’t care.
They don’t send me into screaming fits but still give me the willies.

Have you ever seen the movie “Creepshow”, based on Stephen King’s book? In one of the stories, there are plenty of cockroaches bothering a rich and evil tenant, played by E.G. Marshall.
Haha, I’ve see you go nutso over little bugs. Next time I’m getting pictures to upload here. I’ve never seen such a big dude shriek like a little girl when a cicada flies in the window. ;)
OMG! I thought I was the only person in the world with roachaphobia! I also suffer from fear of heights and all bugs but cockroaches and bees are the worst. I once found a huge nest of ants in the window casing in my den while I was cleaning windows. I freaked out! They were just swarming in the house. I found some bug killer in the utility room but it was a concentrate that was supposed to be mixed with water. I couldn’t find a sprayer so I just dumped the stuff in the window well and it stunk so bad. It took me days to get the stench of that stuff out. And cleaning up the stinky stuff along with the dead ants was sheer torture!
