Yea it does.
When you participate in historical reenactments, you dont think that some group of thinned-skinned morons would make the leap to think that you ACTUALLY ARE THE ROLE YOU ARE PLAYING!
Would it had made people feel better if he was in a American Revolution reenactment in a British Uniform?
If you run around afraid of a camera, then you already lost.

Of course, it was perfectly fine for Harry Byrd to wear his KKK robes for real.

Not at all. I think this locks in the Nazi vote for him.

If you’re in certain professions, you’d better be very careful around a camera. Politician is definitely on of them. A camera can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Every smart politician knows this and acts accordingly.
Like it or not, we live in a country that has PC attitudes and perception is often more important than reality. Is it fair? Not always. Does it suck? Yeah. But it is what it is. Smart people deal with it; dumb ones get burned.

The Nazis may not have won the ground war, but they sure won the fashion war.

According to Larry Sabato, this controversy is sinking Iott.

John Kerry commited naked treason lying to Congress during the Vietnam war about phony war crimes he witnessed/participated in (he now calls those the words of himself as an angry young man and does not stand by them).
There are plenty of PRO-COMMUNIST scum who are given a "pass" on their radical politics. Historical re-enactment is NOT about "reliving history to change the outcome".
It's not even a Halloween costume.

I agree. Conservatives are held to a very high standard and liberals get a pass. Like I said, it ain’t fair, but it is what it is.

Ha! Sabato also said he only expects the Repubs to take 44-47 house seats. That’s less than 1994! He’s really had a hard time hiding his stripes this election season.
