New Zealand TV host Paul Henry couldnt contain himself when teasing an upcoming interview with an Indian official. Henry repeatedly laughed an cackled when talking about New Delhis chief minister, Sheila Dikshit. But some arent finding it funny....
Henrys outburst enraged Indian officials, especially considering his seemingly racists comments. Ive known about her for a while and Ive been laughing ever since, he said, and then added, Its so appropriate because shes Indian.

A Foolish Friday Thread!
I actually act like that guy for the entire 8 hours I’m at work every day. I’m surprised I haven’t gotten fired in my 2 1/2 years there. :O)
LOL, they gave him a two week suspension...
“I was honoring her by acting like a Dikshit,” he was not heard to say.
Dikshit? Really? That must stink to have that name. I would probably be anal about that too!!
Wait ‘til he finds out that “henry” is Hindi for some foul item...
Where do you work and are they hiring????
I tried not to laugh, its like Austin Powers has a love child.
Given that it’s pronounced Diks-hit, were I her, I’d be sorely tempted to update the spelling to Dixhit.
At least it isn’t Phuc Yew from Viet Nam.
“Young Boozer”
Better than Phil McCracken.
ROTF!
Dicks Hit....Dic Shit...
I can see how it could disrupt a hosts agenda. : - D
Checked him out at his website. He explains his name there. He’s got my vote.
Seymour Butts.
Mine too...
We have a guy at work with this name. I’m actually ashamed that we all cracked up at first hearing it. He’s an excellent fellow.
On his Office Messenger, he spelled it alternatively “Dixit”; I guess to try not to freak out any more of us USA-ians. I would imagine he’s tired of the joke at his age.
Way back when David Letterman was funny, he would bring guys on the show for a “worst name” contest - I remember Richard Head and the winner, Harry Dong.
Or the great English big game hunter, Claude Balls.
