Miss Kentucky Latina lost her crown and faces assault charges after being accused of beating a woman and stabbing a man in the neck with a ball-point pen, police say.
CBS affiliate WKYT-TV in Lexington reported that police in Richmond arrested Daniela Gaskie, 22, after attacks on a gas station attendant and pharmacist last week. Gaskie was the reigning Miss Kentucky Latina until the organization found out about the arrest.
Gaskie also was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. She is scheduled to appear in Madison District Court on Oct. 19.
The pharmacist, Mary Ann McKinney, told msnbc.com on Thursday that she suffered cuts and bruises in the Sept. 29 melee. "Those will eventually heal, but it was an ordeal," she said.
Police say Gaskie became enraged at a gas station attendant and stabbed him in the neck with a pen. No one knows what provoked the attack, police said.
After that encounter, Gaskie ran across the road to the M & M Drug Store's parking lot, where she started beating on McKinney's silver Avalon, McKinney said.
"Well, I walked out of the store to the girl and said, 'Excuse me, but you've got the wrong car,' and she answered me in a very explicit way. She went into this mad rage," McKinney said.

The solution:
This is such a poorly researched story. When they kicked all the Conservatives out of journalism, they kicked the brains out with them.
“No one knows” why she stabbed the gas station attendant.
And no one knows whether he’s alive or dead or in the hospital because the “journalist” didn’t bother to find out.
We are also in the dark about why this violent virago was beating up a car(???) and its owner.
Truly lousy reporting.
