Though light on the specifics for security reasons, CBS 6 learned from Amtrak Media Relations Director Steve Kulm Tuesday morning about the initiative called Operation RailSafe."

The best way to kill the remaining interest in trains is to make boarding one more like boarding an airplane.
Maybe the moslem terrorists in America have finally realized how easy it is to attack the railroads and not the airlines.

And instead of targeting the Muzzie terrorists (why that would be profiling, which is wacist!), more likely the railfan and railway history community. So owning old railway timetables, railway photographs, maps, will make one suspect. That would be the logic of Sister Napolitano.
Does this mean we can finally stop subsidizing amtrak and spend that money on new roads where it will actually be used?
Translation: Someone is getting taxpayer bucks for this. The entire Department of Homeland Security is nothing but a huge slush fund for defense contractors.
