Shoot-from-the-lip CNN anchor Rick Sanchez was laying low yesterday -- but the man who did the interview that got Sanchez fired is talking about his "career suicide."
Pete Dominick, host of the Sirius XM radio show "Stand Up!" and CNN contributor, said that he was pressured into having Sanchez on as a guest.
"Frankly, I didn't really want him to do the radio show," he told his audience. "He's not the type of guest we have on this show -- we generally have experts on issues.
"But I work there at CNN, I didn't want to say no."
Sanchez was fired abruptly on Friday after recordings of the interview -- in which he called Jon Stewart "a bigot" and suggested Jews ran CNN -- began circulating on the Web.
"I figured we'd do 10 minutes with him," said Dominick. "We'd talk about his book, it would certainly be an interesting conversation."
Instead, Sanchez "came into the studio on Thursday with a live grenade in his mouth, and he pulled the pin," Dominick added. "I tried to put it back for him, but he wasn't having it.
"He apparently had an agenda to unleash on Jon Stewart . . . The way I see it, if Rick didn't do it on my show, he would've done it somewhere else.

I agree. I personally have no problem with anything he said regarding Stewart or CNN. But dang, he really had it coming anyway. It’s kind of fun to see him get canned for an unjust reason. It’s poetic justice and I think it comports with the rest of his resumé, lol. :)
I have it on good authority that Sanchez and Michael Richards are holed up together in a cheap motel arguing over whether to watch Zulu or Triumph of the Will. I hope Sanchez doesn’t find out that Kramer “feels” Jewish.
CNN continued the suicide mission with their Client #9 and the Parker-roll blond bimbo. The guests pulled the pin on that show.

What gets me is Sanchez crying that he’s mistreated because he’s a minority. Other than his last name and him telling everyone about it, would anyone know that he’s a minority? He looks as white as me...

Don’t know if you have ever seen on the history channel a documentary an englishman made in 2005. It’s about a bunch of englishmen who go through a modified month long French Foreign Legion bootcamp. It’s pretty good. I liked it.

conservatism is about truth even unpleasant ones or the ones that make folks squirm. It's not about not speaking truths because a few might not like hearing it.
Real anti-Jewishness is black liberation theology, Islam, Christian Identity, Final Solution and so forth...
Btw, has anyone here examined Stewarts history of proven anti-Christian bigotry. Does anyone think a Christian comic would survive if he attacked Jews that way?
There is far more evidence Stewart (a man ashamed of his own name ..another story in itself) is a bigot towards Christians than there is Sanchez the goofball is a Neo Nazi Jew hater but one still has his job.
