Tiger Woods's feudal right to rule the roost can no longer be sustained when he gets duffed up quite as badly as this.
The sight of Tiger giving of his best and finding it consistently and dazzlingly bettered by a man who, if he can forgive the imagery, really now ought to be dubbed 'Son of Monty' almost beggared belief as well as triggering the explosion of joy which ignited this great European comeback.

But seriously, can you imagine the pressure NBC placed on the PGA and by extension Pavin et al to select Tiger regardless of record or form? Woods is in the midst of his 4th swing change (and they said Faldo was crazy for changing his ONCE) - in his heart of hearts even he would admit the timing isn’t right to be there.
Tiger kicked butt today. We just can’t putt those freakin slow greens. Sigh. Well-played Europe.
