I'm looking for some advice for my next gun purchase for conceal carry. I really need a 9mm. I really WANT an H&K 9mm. I am interested in the compact since I am a female.
Since H&Ks cost a pretty penny, can anyone give me pros/cons or a different suggestion? I have a Glock already, so I'm not interested in another right now.
I like diversity in my handguns. Any thoughts? Thanks!
For that kind of money I would consider the Sig P-226
Try a Glock 19 and see if you like how it feels and shoots. If so, it might be what you’re looking for.
I also didn't mention the Colt Pony, a separate DAO design on a similar concept to the Mustangs. Very small.
Push the button and put the red dot on the target. I take my Kel-Tec everywhere.
Hk USP9 Compact Tactical seems to be what you’re looking for.
Glock 26
CZ-82 in 9mm Makarov. It’ll cost you about 250 or so.
The 9mm is the pistol round of choice of the IDF. If it’s chosen to take down dogma-driven terrorists, it’ll do for just about any situation in the US.
I don’t remember ever seeing a .40acp. Who makes them/
No disrespect to the gun fanciers here, but I suggest you ask on thehighroad.org and/or thefiringline.com, as well. You’re likely to find more people there with experience with a specific model you might be interested in. Some pistols that look nice(even particular models from elite manufacturers) aren’t so nice, and it seems that the smaller the gun the more likely function problems tend to occur. Sure, most are good, but there are enough lemons that it pays to take your time when looking for a new pistol.
I have the P2000 - great weapon. Never misfired yet.
Wifey has a S&W 9mm, good purse gun for a woman. I have a Taurus Slim 9 for my pocket. Have a couple of Ruger 45’s (my preferred caliber) for my fanny pack. 45 expends its energy in the target. Of course, I have a variety of other calibers for other work. 380 is pretty worthless IMHO.
I had 2 Colt Pocketlites but had to sell them for school money. Wish I still had 'em though I'm not a fan of .380.
Find a shop that deals with LE, you can probably get a good deal on a trade in.
I have a Kel-Tec 9mm and it jams a lot. Haven’t shot but a couple boxes of ammo thru it but I was told that the Jam issue would get better once I had broken it in good. Can anyone else comment on this?
