Sorry for the vanity but We went over to Nueve Progreso today to buy pet meds and eat Arturo's chips with the trans fats and on our return noticed that the U.S. AGENTS were wearing bullet proof vests and one was carrying an automatic weapons standing right next to the agents checking passports. Whats up with that. Heck I live here and have not heard of any new alerts. I expected to see the Federal Agents on the Mexican side but not bullet proof vests and full automatic weapons on our side. Any one know what is up?

Al Qaeda is on the move. Adnan Gulshair el Shukrijumah is the point person for the U.S. attack.

I saw a video of narcogangs walking around with automatic weapons out in the open. The local cops are too corrupt and they are losing the battle.

It's possible the heavily armed one was US Secret Service and that a high value protectee is in the area. Also remember that ALL federal agents are armed, even those who might not seem by the nature of their job to require a firearm. Like maybe the Department of Agriculture? All of them armed and usually with some serious firepower. Also, a single point of concern is not going to be enough t raise a nationwide alert level. Don't sweat it. They usually know what they're doing and they're not all Obama-Drones.

Probably not doing this to catch the usual Mexi criminals. Something’s up, terrorist-wise, all over the map.
The US has advised Americans to stay away from tourist sites in Europe. (I’ve never heard of that happening before.) Armed guards closed the Eiffel Tower.

U.S. AGENTS were wearing bullet proof vests and one was carrying an automatic weapons Some of 'em must have put in for transfer from NYC, where they've been in the financial district for years.

By the way it’s Nuevo Progreso. Not Nueve. I just noticed the typo.
