Where is the PacMan monitor? Or don’t you play while driving?

I'm ready to pull the plug. I did. These are tough economic times anyway. We don't need to be giving it away to people like Murdock who supports his pro-amnesty stance perhaps using Dish Network proceeds.
To: AFreeBird
No, but I've watched a couple of movies on it at friends who have it connected via Wii to their big screen.
What I've tried watching is usually news station videos on whatever rinky-dink proprietary system they have.

How many ad dollars will Fox lose if their programs are no where to be seen.

Those rinky dinks aren’t optimized for streaming
Correction, the sports channels are gone but I never watched them anyway.

Everyone turn off your TV sets. It is all garbage anyway. Turn them off and get back to communicating with your families, and get back to attending church every week as well. God is watching America, and He is not happy. We need to re-find our values. It it time to find our way back home just like the prodigal son.

My husband and I have seriously been discussing it the past couple of weeks. The last of the kids is in her last year of high school and never home to watch it.
I have it on during the day just out of habit and usually end up yelling at the stupid talking head on it anyways.
I get my news from the Internet for the most part and of coarse here on FR. DISH just keeps nickle and dimeing the prices up and we need to cut our budget even more with tax increases and insurance costs going up.

I love Dish and have never had any problems.
The picture quality is incredible and the DVR receiver is easy to use and packed with features.

The solution to me is to cut out CNN and HLN and use that dough to pay FOX. I would pay extra to DirecTV if they dropped MSNBC,

We were long time Cable subscribers in the 80s and 90s, never being happy with them, for a ton of different reason, but never having any other choice short of putting a 10 foot dish up. Switched to Direct TV in about 2001 and were happy for a while, but after awhile it was the same routine. Night after night of nothing on worth watching. And if it rained real hard or had snow on the dish, it went down.
Switched to Comcast Cable last year on a trial bases, and we were amazed at what was now available. Its not the crappy cable we remember. There is so much on, and so much available in free on-demand, that we never have a night without anything to watch.
