Kinda brings a tear to your eye, huh?
Aren’t we loving it? I know I am! She thinks she’s the smartest woman in the world! Anyone who says re: health care bill, “We have to pass it so we can find out whats in it!!! Sounds like the dumbest statement ever to me! LOL!
LOL and AMEN, JOHNN!
The scene is a Japanese garden, perfect for a last bit of fall color before the monocromatic scene arrives.
Breakfast is on the table, and ready for you.
(also a treat, a few chocolate crusted graham crackers to go with the coffee)
You know, it would be fun to cook for all of you for real one day, what fun to share good food and friendship, (say in celebration of replacing Obama with a conservative?)
LOL!
HEY!!!!
I’m all for it. Maybe we could meet someplace in the middle of our great country. I would love that!!
OK, we plaqn a get together to celebrate the wonderful event, and we find a way so I can cook for all of you.
Center of the country sounds great, far from both ‘left’ coasts!
Beautiful post Meg! I missed posting anything yesterday, even a Halloween greeting. All through the years I ‘used’ to post for every holiday.
Hope you had a nice day with your son and his family jaycee.
This was so sweet Kitty Mittens, and I’m glad you enjoyed the Obama gif!
Thank you, potlatch...Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up soon!

Amy’s Place ... Poetry and Potpourri ... November, 2010
COME ON OVER TO NOVEMBER
Funny how we clean our houses, decorate and prepare for company only to see it all get ‘messed up’ pretty fast with that many people. I had to get over my compulsiveness for ‘keeping things nice’!
I received this in an email. Thought it was appropriate for today! :)
The densest element in the known Universe has been found!
A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the densest element yet known to science.
The new element has been named Pelosium. Pelosium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311.
These particles are held together by dark forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
Pelosiums mass actually increases over time, as morons randomly interact with various elements in the atmosphere and become assistant deputy neutrons within the Pelosium molecule, leading to the formation of isodopes.
This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Pelosium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as Critical Morass.
When catalyzed with money, Pelosium activates CNNadnausium, an element that radiates orders of magnitude more energy, albeit as incoherent noise, since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons as Pelosium.
Such a useless element! BE GONE!
Wishing everyone a Mah-vah-lus Day
I can’t do it anymore..I let the kids do it!
I’m heading in that direction Meg! I have three good daughters and they kinda see ‘the writing on the wall’, lol. Cooking has never been my ‘love’, but I can spend hours creating things. Funny, huh?
No mess to clean up with your creations..I hate the mess of cooking...and my back hurts!
Hi Potlatch! Well ,I thought maybe the horse’s were praying! I didn’t know they did that to keep each other warm. You can tell I don’t know much about horses! :) Hoped you liked it!
Your thought was a good one! I did like it, I like horses. When I had two they would run back to the barn when it got cold and windy. In fact they wanted to run back to the barn when we were riding them, lol.
