I used to do a lot of needlework, JC. (And crocheting, knitting and sewing.)
But, no - this isn’t one of mine - but I thought it was perfect to send to our hostess for her ‘cat-nap’ today!

I wanted to tell you about the little party. We actually roasted weinies on an open fire outside. The kids just loved it! Then we went outside and up the hill. My son and his wife had set up a little game like an obstacle course and it was fun for the kids and made us laugh. At the end of that game, they had to be blind-folded. There were 2 buckets. One had water in it and they had a small cup to take water out of one and walk it over to the empty bucket. Of course, they were directed the path to walk with the water and they would get lost from the bucket and it was hilarious. Kids just love that kind of thing and so do we grown-ups.
I had to finally leave as the wind was too cold and my eyes were watering so bad. Later, they were going to take a little hayride around the area where the other grandfather lives. He has a big tractor and he had a small flat-bed with the hay already on it. They were not going to get on any main roads of course. After the hayride, they were going to roast marshmallows. The day had been too long for me and I’m glad I came on home. But it sure made a lot of good memories for some of those children.
