yorkie, that's such a beautiful autumn scene and poem. I would love to take a leisurely walk down that path. Though these days, who knows how safe that would be, it's so isolated, and isn't that sad to be afraid to enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature for fear someone evil might be waiting for a victim. (Maybe I've watched too much Criminal Minds!)

I know that look with those ‘sad’ eyes they can give you. By the way, my son has a new black cat and is loving it so much! He has about 5 names he is trying to choose from which is fun, I think!

Hi, jaycee! Thank you so much. Wish I had my voting already done, but it’s kind of exciting to see how busy the early voting place is. I also DON’T like to wait until Election Day. Really don’t enjoy standing in line - anywhere!

This always reminds me of my childhood. My brother, who is 16 months older than me, would take me by the hand and we would walk through my grandfathers almond orchards when we went to visit.
We lived in the city and nothing could compare to the country. Aaahh....those blessed memories of a diffent time so long ago. Thank you, Conor!
