Stuxnet 'cyber superweapon' moves to China

A computer virus dubbed the world's "first cyber superweapon" by experts and which may have been designed to attack Iran's nuclear facilities has found a new target -- China.

The Stuxnet computer worm has wreaked havoc in China, infecting millions of computers around the country, state media reported this week.

“If Israel did launch this thing sometime last year against Iran, is it taking a life of it’s own given the spread, or is the spread intentional to muddy the waters a bit more as to the origin?”

Even more interesting the command and control servers for Stuxnet have been taken offline.....

“Our analysis of Stuxnet has been ongoing for some time now, although we have not posted any information on our blog about it we have been continuously analyzing the threat since it was discovered earlier this year. Initial investigation into the threat pointed to a command and control infrastructure as the method to control the threat. The command and control servers used were taken offline shortly after this control mechanism was discovered.

Our continued research has revealed that as well as being controlled via a command and control infrastructure, the threat also has the ability to update itself via a peer-to-peer component.”

Mossad to Iran. Then China pays the price for unprotected salacious systems intercourse with Iran. I seriously doubt our systems are vulverable.
