With all the stress we are experiencing due the direction our country is headed, I thought I would try something a little different and fun for openers. Name your favorite television comedy/variety shows from the 60s-90s. What actor/actress made that show great?

My son is stationed at Fort Bragg. I wonder if he and the Bride are attending
Rock the Fort, sponsored by the Billy Graham association. I hope so.

It wasn’t a comedy, nor variety, but I loved “Black Sheep Squadron.” Making an impression on me was Robert Conrad, Dirk Blocker (Dan’s son), Larry Manetti, John Larroquette and James Whitmore, Jr.

I remember hubby and I having ‘words’ many times after his surgery about him doing things that he wasn’t supposed to. He wanted to drive the same day I drove him home after open heart surgery!!

Slimeballs.
Many articles here about where the money is coming from to smear Walker and Johnson. SEIU is one culprit. Every day a new slimy add. Ron Johnson has come up with a very effective answer ad to Feingold’s ad saying he took government loans. Fortunately even the local media are calling him out on it, that it is absolute garbage.

Good morning.
Remember all the comedians on his show? Shecky Green, Jackie Mason, Steve rossi and Marty Allen, etc.

Back then, it was the show to make your ‘debut’ on. If you appeared on Ed Sullivan-you had made it. It was a “Really big sheeew” :)

I loved that show as well. Later on I read what a scoundrel Pappy Boyington was when he was flying with the All Volunteer Group in China. Drunk and disorderly and claimed kills that he had never gotten.
Rubbed Tex Hill, General Chennault and other AVG pilots the wrong way in so many ways.

I loved that show, but it was too silly for my parents to tolerate. They harumphed whenever it came on and left the room. They wouldn’t let us watch The Beverly Hillbillies for that reason either. I’ve had to catch up with them through reruns. LOL!
I was so deprived.

They LOVED the Dick Van Dyke Show. But they hated Laugh In (too silly and risque) and we couldn’t watch that either. They loved Petticoat Junction.
I never did figure out their reasoning.
