He was picked up pretty early. Much of the thread's length had to do with the topic: Who's your choice for president in 2012. That always gets results. As for the troll, he was upfront about his beliefs, but later came to do some baiting, though not very forcefully.

Several of us questioned his judgment voting for Obama, yet he never really defended that. Nor did he ever admit being wrong (which, one would think, would be a reason for signing up here...). He had the opportunity to. Your vote was a righteous one.
