Who will be the GOP nominee for president in 2012?
Posted on 09/22/2010 6:10:09 AM PDT by Jefferson Liberal
I think it will be Jeb Bush because he is a successful former Governor of a state with no income tax, he speaks fluent Spanish and latinos love him, and he is an intellectual heavyweight.
Who do you think it will be?
TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: 0bush; 2012gopprimary; bds; jeb; jeb2012; jebapalooza; lookatme; n00b; sniff; troublemaker; zotbait

Sarah is to libtards as a garlic necklace is to vampires. So far, I’ve seen nobody else (tough Christine O’Donnell and Michele Bachmann come close) generate this level of a reaction in the lunatic left. That speaks louder than anything else.

For God’s sake keep out the Bushes.

Oh, I think Bachmann creates her own similar derangement syndrome...She’s very high on Nancy’s (s)hit-list.
I could vote for Bachmann with a very clear conscience and have enthusiasm in my heart.

I definitely think Mitt Romney could hold his own in the national debates with President Obama.
I voted for Romney in the ‘08 primary.

Not sure what that means. I guess pro-abortion? Support compulsory unions? For taking race into account in hiring and school admissions and promotions? For gay “marriage?” For open borders and making anyone that wants an American citizen?

I would add Marco Rubio and Nikki Haley to your on-deck circle. Yes... Nikki Haley for sure. As for Rubio, he does give me a few concerns about immigration.

I’m pro-choice. I support only unions whose focus is keeping workers from being taken advantage of by their CEO. I oppose affirmative action. I think the gay marriage issue should be handled at the state level. I oppose open borders.

Have you ever been struck by lightning?
Do you in fact feel the buzz right now?

Hew could well “hold his own” but in office he would maintain what Obama has built and add some of his own. He is not a conservative and his pride and joy is the Massachusetts health care system. He still thinks he did good work with that while it is bankrupting Massachusetts.

What are you doing here? Getting a big laugh with your buddies? Don’t you have anything better to do?
To: Jefferson Liberal
Everyone should be a fiscal conservative, don't ya think?
Does that mean you are a social liberal who supports abortion on demand, gays in the military and homnosexual marriage, Amnesty for illegal immigrants.
If so, you'd fit in better over at Democrat Undergound or Daily KOS.
To: Jefferson Liberal
So, do you support his stimulus, his takeover of portions of the auto industry, his healthcare plan?

Well, missy pro-choice, I wouldn't murder you, but I certainly wouldn't want to dictate to anyone else whether they can murder you or not. ... Now, slug, apply that to the alive unborn, if you have sufficient little gray cells to accomplish it.

Palin would beat Romney among Republicans. Romney beats Palin among Republican Primary voters because that group will include a large, perhaps very large, number of Democrats who change their registrations to save Obama's bacon or to make his opposition as unobjectionable as possible should the opposition win. Unless the Kenyan doesn't run or the Clinton does. Democrats were probably instrumental in choosing McCain last time. They figured Soetoro had it in the bag way before Republicans realized that and voted heavily in the later Republican primaries. I am a long-time registered Democrat and pay attention. I know how they thought in Florida in 2008.
