Back in the days when I could still eat peanut butter, Crunchy Jif was the best and apparently still is.

Nowadays I buy the store brand jumbo jar. Hey, it’s goopy brown stuff made of peanuts, works with jelly — my kids don’t care. Of the name brands, I prefer Peter Pan. There’s a good natural brand called Crazy Richard’s, but it’s just not worth the expenditure these days.

I don’t know how anyone can eat Jif. *shudder*

WIll let the chicken cook the rest of the night, but dad and I just finished a nice saucepan full of chicken and noodles....(Will freeze some of the others and make a small pot pie)....Crock pots make cooking easy for just the two of us. One pot full is several meals.

half crunchy Jif and half creamy and the “J” is strawberry jam/preserves...been doin’ it that way for 40 years...followed by ice cold milk.
