He is a businessman...period. He may be doing Patriotic things but at the end of the day it is about wealth accumulation for him...just like O’Reilly, Hannity, etc...

He’s just getting a bigger group together because we need more pitchforks in November.

His transformation was very sudden and almost overnight. It is my belief the Chicago Mafia paid him a visit and “explained things” to him. He has had death threats and wears a bullet proof vest in public......red

I don’t think it’s that. I think he read Gandhi and King and thinks this can be a non-violent revolution. I hope he’s right. The crowd he drew in Washington would seem to be an indication.

No offense, just my humble opinion, I just can’t even watch Fox anymore. Beck or Oreaaly, I share all the conservative values but watching them just does nothing but make me want to change the channel....and not to any “news” stations.

My guess is that he worked and worked, climbing and climbing until he could peer over, and he saw the mess that’s in store for us. Now he’s convinced that America is not prepared for the battle. And, as someone once said, “To send untrained men into battle is to throw them away.”

He must be trying to prepare us either to fight or to endure the unavoidable.

JMHO

Heck, I don't know... I never listen to him...
But we are living in crazy times when nothing makes sense anymore,
So maybe Glenn had an epiphany and discovered that he was gay.

Just a theory, but nothing either more or less plausible than any other speculative nonsense that dominates American politics in this day and age.

IMHO, Beck had an epiphany. Calling for torches and pitchforks to rally the troops was fine, but to take a page from the playbook of the left,(which worked, BTW) he has taken the Ghandi/MLK approach of total non-violent resistance. It is much more difficult to demonize people united in peaceful resistance than an ‘angry mob”.

It has been probably 15 years since I heard Beck on the radio, and have never seen him on TV, so I can not speak with any authority.
While he seems to be a GREAT guy, I heard him only because
the radio in my business was set on the same station as RUSH.
Beck came on about the time I was opening up, so I heard him, but never got hooked.
Of course, he may be much different then he was at his beginning.
Keep in mind, I am no longer in the USSA.

I pay to get Rush (24/7), and often listen to Savage, as I wake up.
Savage is a mixed bag, but I love that he calls the Dims
for what they are... MARXIST, and their voters “red diaper doper babies”.
We should all start calling them what they are....
neo-Marxist.
I never use the PC terms like “liberal”, “progressive”, or even “Democrat”. They are ALL nasty Commies.

The MSM would make him out to be a Total and Complete Looney Toon, more so than they do now if he was talking about bringing out the pitchforks. Can you imagine how Obama could’ve used this to his advantage had Beck kept on talking this way??

Now he is talking about what seems to be a national Kum-Byah-Ya and group hug?

...not over the last two days...

I remember a push for advertisers to boycott Beck around a year ago. I don’t even remember what it was for; but, Beck took a week long vacation from being on Fox, until things calmed down.

He probably has turned things down a notch, to please Fox.

Also, Beck seems to be very, very impressionable, and his rhetoric swings according to whatever book he happens to be reading at the time.

I like Beck, but he seems to be in a state on constant journey, never quite ‘finding himself’. Initially the humility that brings is attractive, but ultimately gets tiring.

Glenn is simply convinced that there is violence coming from the left. Considering that the left has a history of doing exactly what they accuse others of doing, there is a strong possibility he’s right. He wants no doubt in the minds of the larger public that WE aren’t the ones who are violent.

He pulled off a huge victory on 8/28 that made a lot of the snipers on our side of the aisle take him a lot more seriously.

Hope that explains it. That’s how I see it anyway. Hopefully, this is a real concern and not just some more sniping because D’Souza just flipped off the birthers on his show.

That tone, worked to pack the Lincoln memorial with a half million people a month or so ago.

Patriotic, well mannered Americans who stood up to be counted... then cleaned up after themselves when they left in the afternoon.

Eclipsing, the “counter-demonstration”. Before you criticize Beck, perhaps think about the enormity of that gathering. He’s frustrating at times, but nobody else is out there doing what he’s doing.

He’s a good guy I think.
