Third-party candidate Tom Tancredo has now moved past Republican nominee Dan Maes, but Democrat John Hickenlooper still remains well ahead in the race to be Colorados next governor.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Colorado finds Hickenlooper earning 46% support, his best showing in the three-way race to date. Tancredo picks up 25% of the vote, while Maes runs third with 21%. One percent (1%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

Well. I always liked Tom. Except when he endorsed Romney so Bay Buchanan could get a new gig. And I though his getting into this race was DUMB. But, looks like I may have to reconsider. If Maes is soooo bad, then perhaps Tom IS a good choice and did the right thing. I do know this... Dick Wadhams and the GOP in CO are incompetent boobs.
The Rat wins this election unless either Tancredo or Maes drop out.
They are the epitome of everything I don't like about the Republican party.
Maes won’t and I wouldn’t vote for him even if Tancredo does. I think Hicks is gonna walk this one in, sadly.
This was a winnable race until the Colorado GOP imploded. Too bad. By the way, thanks, Tancredo.
I met this milquetoast weasel at the National Convention and after a 5 minute "chat" could clearly see "d****bag written all over his forehead. Then I talked with some "real" Conservatives who gave me the 411. This is ALL his fault. He and his cronies. You poor folks need to seriously do something out there. Colorado should NOT be lagging behind Illinois politically. And for sure not in THIS year's political climate!!!!
I hope we’re in for a surprise. But I don’t think either Tncredo or maes will back out.
The Republicans could lose a bet on a one horse race!
