Tony certainly deserves it...but I’m wondering why Bubba is passing it out rather than Obie.

Bill’s lookin old.
I can appreciate skillful politicians and even if one is a lib, I can appreciate a sharp mind.
But I’ve always found Clinton a big bore. I’d listen to his aw-shucks I’m just a good Southern boy crap, and think, “Who’s buying this?”
Never said anything interesting, just sparkling nothingness that appeals to those who already share his beliefs, and is forgotten a moment later. He could manipulate, and he was lucky to have a spoiler running both times to let him slip by without breaking 50%. He talks the jargon that gets Chris Matthews and his bunch all excited. But I don’t think he’s going to be respected once those who liked him have disappeared. Not much to show for him being on the scene.

My British cousin and his wife living in London are as ardent conservatives (Tories) as we are. They realize how we admire Blair for his support in the Iraq war but they and other non-socialists in that country were totally relieved when he chose not to run again. They knew his policies were leading to total economic destruction....much as we feel about our particular leader here in the States.
The charming, eloquent Mr. Blair is so far left that it's no wonder that he, by his own words, is an admirer of two of our national leftist warts, Clintoon and Obamboozler.

For years I searched for what you called 'The Third Way'. Did you ever find it, Bill?

‘Liberty’ Medal?!? Thats a joke. He presided over a Government that was so obsessive in rolling back the rights of the citizenry for the sake of ‘security’ that it was dubbed ‘Zanu-Labour’ by its (many) opponents...
