He quoted part of the Pledge of Allegiance, and he prolly didn’t even know it. Then he started on about how tolerant Americans are. He’s an embarrassment.

The trips to the bath houses may be a problem.

On 9/11 he will only appear in an environment that can be completely controlled. It shows that he is weak and insecure.

It is because he is a POS and is truly revolting for real Americans to see or hear. We immediately had to switch to MLB channel so that we could enjoy our family breakfast (with plenty of BACON just to emphasize that we understand TRUTH).

I did not watch it. Did he give a campaign speech or did he display [for once] the dignity he has so far been lacking?

OT: I have noticed his sudden display of concern for our troops. Am I unfair when I think he is using them as a tool to bring up his favoribility ratings and repair his image?

People need to stop trying to make politicians and our would-be leaders into gods. They are not gods, some are not even close to being human.

Putting complete trust into any politican is a citizens' folly. They are not to be trusted until they have proven to be trustworthy.

Political ads and campiagn speechs are not "history", they are hollow promises - sales pitches designed to invoke the best possible response and pursuede us to vote for them.

But it takes a man or woman of impeccable honor and courage to NOT be swayed by the status quo once they attain the office. They forget sometimes that they are not joining a "club" in which they will totally acquiesce and assimilate, but they are their representing the lives and fortunes of those who they represent - the people.

Bill Clinton and barack obama are both good speakers, but enunciation, elocution, and diction are NOT qualifications for leadership, only salesmanship and radio announcers.

Believing people like obama is like buying the "extended warranty" when you buy a new car - the dealership gets a commission on it, the salesman gets a commission on it, but all you will ever see is the "red tape" you have to endure when you try to use it.

No statesman can be George Washington without first proving he's NOT Joe Isuzu. The burden of proof of performance is on him/her just like it is on you when you take a new job...you perform, or you're out the door. It's a damn shame we don't have a 90-probationary period on them like employers have new employees.

Until the lemming factor is gone - and that will never happen - there are still those who judge candidates on appearance, and speaking ability, instead of their reputations, history, and honor.

The founding fathers were statesmen, building a country to escape tyranny; the new herd of democrates are tyrants, trying to tear down a country.

Remember in November.

The smart thing to do would be to tell the musscums to go F themselves and if they have a problem with that to go talk to the American people who don’t want their crap.

Isn't he more arab and white than African? Just asking cause I don't know for sure....

I also remember back in the late 50's and 60's Harry Belefonte made a big deal out of being a Jamaican and not afro american....until it became more beneficial to him to be a black man....
