I seem to recall Lennon and Ronald Reagan by chance ran into each other during a Monday Night Football halftime and actually got along quite well.

Yikes - the face of a murderer?
Looks more like the guy who reads my gas meter.

I loved the guy’s music until Yoko ruined the band and read that he was pretty strung out on heroin at the time of his death. What I don’t get is why some bad ass lifer Beatles fan hasn’t carved his heart out with a rusty spoon by now.

John Lennon was actually starting to see the light at the end of his life.
He bought NYCPD bullet proof vests with his own money, and was beginning to understand the paramount importance of being a responsible parent. His magnificent Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy) is among the best songs ever written about fatherhood.
He did give up the opportunity to make a bundle just to be
with his kid. If he was maturing, it's a pity he's gone.
I loved a lot of his music.

executed? LOL!
The last execution in NY was in 1963 for murder and robbery. This was the last execution in New York prior to the death penalty being declared unconstitutional in New York.

...and was beginning to understand the paramount importance of being a responsible parent. I have a feeling Julian would disagree.

He looks a little like J.D. Hayworth. I think he should be paroled. Yes, he broke the law, but at least we didn’t have to hear much more of that lousy solo material.

All the liberal Lennon fans want Chapman to rot in prison, but are perfectly fine with allowing killers of the less hip and glamorous, to serve hideously lenient jail sentences.

You’ve got that right.

Well, Im all for keeping killers behind bars as long as possible, but the simple fact of the matter is that if the voices in his head had told him to kill Joe the construction worker instead of John Lennon, he would have been paroled 20 years ago. I guess some of us animals are more equal than others...

On a side note, I miss Don Meredith. If I remember correctly, OJ Simpson and Meridith overlapped for one or two seasons in the early 80's.
You could tell Meridith saw right through OJ's facade.

And Steven Curtis Chapman is still a free man. (After all, who did more harm to music?)

Right, but the point I was making was about the double standard of liberal Lennon fans.

The largely ignorant, serial murderer Simpson deployed transparently juvenile, openly arrogant racism regularly on MNF.
