Here is rare color video showing the bomb damage aftermath of the German Blitz of London that began 70 years ago today – September 7, 1940. Hitler’s Luftwaffe continued bombing for 76 consecutive nights, killing more than 43,000 people and destroying more than a million homes and buildings in London alone. This video was reportedly found in an attic recently.

The funny thing is, all they would need to do is announce that they have burned the koran, they don’t even need to do it. Next week, they could announce that a secret group flew to Saudi Arabia and burned a copy there, the week after, they could announce that they had snuck into Mecca and burned one there for good measure.
After all of the heads exploded, there would be a biohazard area stretching across 5 time zones.

I saw it on Fox News. As somone who bought “The Nazis, a lesson from history” off of Time/Life books, of course, I found it a fascinating piece of film.
Golly gee.... Doesn't the church have the right to burn the Koran? That is what the critics of the church say about Iman Rauf and Bloomberg building that mega mosque on ground zero hallowed ground. When that mosque is built (if it is built) it will be a giant middle finger to the 9/11 families and the rest of America.

Who gives a sh**, besides you I mean? The thing is this visual moving record of the bombing has probably been transferred to Video format, just as many of the old movies have been. To nit pick over a term is slightly stupid, IMO. Did you watch the visual record or not, was it true to form, was it an actual record of the after math of German bombing do you think? If so who cares what the poster calls it?

Which is why it is so rare.
All of the video cameras and VCRs were manufactured in Japan, so it was really hard to find any during WWII. ;-)
And the new idea that it is somehow admirable to tell someone off. I just hate this new trend. The only way they feel tough, smart or of value, is if they tell someone off...whether they bump into them on the sidewalk; get their order wrong in a resturant; or as we have here, tell a joke that they do not understand; they feel they are the better person if they shout the other person down, or put them down in some way.
I am sorry. An innocent remark like yours...one that is accurate; didn’t deserve such a silly reaction..
