I would hope, though, that no one assumes that homosexuals have a monopoly on greedy “self-serving, hateful” narcissism. There are plenty of heterosexuals who knowingly or recklessly transmit STDs as well, for self-serving reasons.
I wish there were more honesty in media about the true cost of promiscuity, especially in movies and such where the characters have flings with no visible ill consequences.

Unfortunately, I work in a healthcare environment that forces me to be aware of the specific, physical acts that homosexuals engage in, among other things, and I promise you that it is not the sort of information or visual imagery that any sort of decent person would ever 'want' to have soiling and scarring his or her neural landscape.
Suffice it to say that in my experience there is 'no contest' between the breathtakingly depraved acts that homosexuals routinely and enthusiastically engage in and ANYTHING that even a moderately sane heterosexual would do.
I feel that it's important to avoid comparisons between heterosexual behaviors, even 'kinky' ones, and the homosexual 'lifestyle' as they call it. They are two entirely different worlds, as different as any you might care to imagine, and one of the goals of the homosexual political movement is to encourage heterosexuals to think of what homosexuals do as 'only a slight difference'.
It's not, not by a long shot.
That being said, I agree wholeheartedly in your call for a reduction in promiscuity across the board
I’ve been fighting for conservative gays over on another thread, but here one has to take a different tactic. It is the hedonistic LIFESTYLE that is making these boys sick. We need to work HARDER on young gay men to be celibate than we do for young straights. They are more at risk, and they have these communities where everything goes.
G-d made us humans, to not be like the animals. There are places and times that we have made sacred for mating, and other times are wrong. Gay men are all but encouraged to live very profligate lives, and we need to insist they remain members of society and keep to a higher standard of morality. Religion would help. I wish they were more welcome. I believe most of them want to live a good, decent life, but they are steered in the wrong direction.
Sorry, I don't buy this. Tell that to two of my former "friends" who died of AIDS - one was a co-worker and the other, a high school friend, who introduced me to my (now) ex.

A white paper issued this month by the Obama administration is calling for an end to state laws — including Iowa’s — that make transmission of HIV a crime.
“In many instances, the continued existence and enforcement of these types of laws run counter to scientific evidence about routes of HIV transmission and may undermine the public health goals of promoting HIV screening and treatment,” notes the report, which is copied in full below.
“CDC data and other studies, however, tell us that intentional HIV transmission is atypical and uncommon. A recent research study also found that HIV-specific laws do not influence the behavior of people living with HIV in those states where these laws exist.”

Obama and his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel are lifetime members of the same gay bath house in uptown Chicago, according to informed sources in Chicago’s gay community, as well as veteran political sources in the city.
The bath house, Man’s Country, caters to older white men and it has been in business for some 30 years and is known as one of uptown Chicago’s “grand old bathhouses.” Sources who are familiar with the bath house say that it provides one-year “lifetime” memberships to paying customers and that the club’s computerized files and pre-computer paper files, include membership information for both Obama and Emanuel. The data is as anonymized as possible for confidentiality purposes. However, sources close to “Man’s Country” believe the U.S. Secret Service has purged the computer and filing cabinet files of the membership data on Obama and Emanuel.
Members of Man’s Country are also issued club identification cards. An unnamed source learned that Obama and Emanuel possessed the ID cards, which were required for entry.
Obama began frequenting Man’s Country in the mid-1990s, during the time he transitioned from a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School to his election as an Illinois State Senator in 1996. Emanuel, reportedly joined Man’s Country after he left the Clinton White House and moved back to Chicago in 1998, joining the investment firm of Wasserstein Perella and maintaining his membership during his 2002 campaign for the U.S. 5th District House seat vacated by Rod Blagojevich, who was elected governor.
Man’s Country appears to be a “one stop shopping” center for gay men. The club’s website advertises steam rooms, “fantasy rooms,” bed rooms, male strippers, adult movies, and lockers.
However, Man’s Country was not the only location for Obama’s predatory gay sex activities. The Chicago gay community is aware that Obama often made contacts with younger men at his famous “pick-up basketball” games. It was at these “pick up” matches where Obama first met Emanuel and a young Democratic campaign worker and senior bank vice president named Alexi Giannoulias. Currently running for Obama’s old U.S. Senate seat now occupied by Roland Burris, Giannoulias successfully ran for Illinois Treasurer in 2006 after being drafted for the run by Chicago’s Democratic machine.

Here in Chicago, depending on what community you’re in, “everyone” knows things about Dr. Utopia too. Our current occupant of the Oval Office, back when he was a “community organizer” for ACORN, a state senator, and an adjunct law professor, was indiscrete and up to all sorts of shennanigans by all accounts. He not only sat in the pews at Trinity United Church gleefully taking in all the hatred and paranoid delusions of Jeremiah Wright, but like many black men at Trinity he’d then find somewhere up north to “unwind” when fiery sermons couldn’t quench the same thirsts as, say, nights spent at the baths. In Chicago, guys in their late 40s and early 50s, who admit they used to go to bathhouses, love talking about a skinny black guy with big ears who said he was a “state rep”, whenever he’d go to Man’s Country to be serviced by white men there.
We’re in our 30s here and have never set foot in Man’s Country. But, go to Sidetracks on Showtunes nights, Little Jim’s or Northend on Halsted, or the Lucky Horseshoe at Belmont and talk to guys who’ve lived the scene, been there, done that, and will admit to being lifelong fans of Man’s Country.
They’ve got stories to tell, believe us.
The thing is, despite both Man’s Country and Steamworks (the two bathhouses in Chicago) being in business for DECADES, and doing fairly well, even in this economy, few people here will admit they’ve ever been there. Since they won’t admit they’ve gone there, they don’t want to be quoted talking about anyone else going there either. Absolutely none of them will go on record being the guy who talks about that skinny, effeminate, black “state rep” who liked having white men give him fellatio (but never reciprocated, the stories go).
