Actually I won’t swear that there isn’t something to that. I am open minded on the possibility.

It's true. Ever felt like someone was staring at you in a crowd, then turned around and looked that exact person squarely in the eyes?

Ever wondered how you knew which person out of all those people was the one staring?

Ever think of someone you haven't talked to in a while, and then they call you on the phone out of the blue?

What made you think of them before the phone rang?

There is something to it. We have the capacity to put out a sort of mental energy that can be perceived by others. It can be positive, or it can be negative, and it can impinge upon others.

I believe there is at least a kernel of truth to this story, if not the whole ear of corn. It worries me a great deal, for the potential consequences of a desultory and anxiety-ridden Obama in extremis might be devastating for the nation.

The man was wholly unprepared for high office and has discovered that an out-sized ego is no substitute for knowledge or experience, both of which he lacks in any significant quantity.

In spite of a glossy educational resume, I think we all know that the depth of his achievement was in reality as thin as onion-skin. And I think we all know why. And, regardless of Obama's admitted lack of executive experience, a history of successful legislative effort might at least have steeled his nerves and stiffened his spine. Instead, he served partial terms and often voted "present".

Tell me: have you ever heard of a person serving as President of a Law Review (and at Harvard, no less!) who never submitted a single article to it for publication and peer review? The words "empty suit" come to mind as much now as they ever have in consideration of our 44th President... but now it's serious. There is too much at stake domestically and abroad for an emotionally fragile poseur to be leading a nuclear-armed superpower in the throes of a Great Recession and increasingly provocative challenges from international adversaries.

Laugh if you must at this incompetent, blustering boob named "Barry", but also consider the danger he represents, on so many levels.

“Y?all are no different than the food nazis with your complete lack of focus.”

Ah, chill out. Smoking has nothing to do with it and you’re right. Being POTUS would cause anyone to smoke and even worse. Every president I can think of in recent history turned grey instantly. Bush aged 10 years after 3 years in office. If I were president I’d be a hot mess. Let’s not attack his appearance but his philosophy and disregard for American values. He can go back on vacation for all I care. Let’s not fold as Freepers and begin attacking each other.

"I’m always suspicious of political gossip that tells a story that some groups want to hear."

I agree, the "scuttlebutt" should be taken with a grain of salt. But, is this the face of a confident, healthy CIC?

The punk street hustler is scared to death of that place, and takes every opportunity to remove himself as far away from it as possible.

Early in his WH residency he said he didn't like being couped up in the WH. I put that statement in my "Obama is a Puppet" file.

I want the bastard escorted out the front door of the WH in a straight jacket and a cigarette between his teeth.

Or handcuffs.

You are wicked, mlizzy! Now that image is burned into my brain. Should I *LOL!* or cringe in horror?

onyx: This is what you missed. I like to share the misery with my friends.

From a purely materialist perspective, it’s difficult to escape concluding that thoughts are things, with substance of some unidentified sort. From a religious perspective, thoughts directed to our Creator have long been known to be powerful, and that power is magnified by numbers.

The hair-on-the-back-of-your-neck sensation, that knowing you’re being watched feeling, is a different matter. It’s ancient, predator-prey stuff. Ignore it or become divorced from it at your peril. You really can tell, if you’re paying attention.

How? Don’t know.

Yep, the Chicoms and Russians must love it. A chain smoking air head loser as prez and an alcoholic dolt as vice prez. We are in great shape thanks to the morons of the US who voted this clown show into office.

I can remember "reports" from "un-named sources" regarding how bin laden was dead, dying, suffering from kidney disease, living in India, and a whole bunch of other garbage. When in fact, we know nothing of his whereabouts or health with any certainty whatsoever.

All this represents is hope without factual basis. How th little tin god "looks" proves little if anything.

When he strokes out and head off for his final "reward", I'll be happy....but not until then.

Just call me a skeptic and leave it at that.

This was just this past Friday. Stunningly heightened aging and very stressed looking... and possibly ill.

I'm surprised. I thought he would be enjoying the destruction of our country.
