On a related note, I finally found “Falling Down” at a used video store. What an awesome movie and how appropriate for the current times. Douglas does a spectacular job.
I highly recommend this movie, though I fear it will be as hard to find as Song of the South.

The movie was making fun of white men. It was a liberal movie.

Great movie. The idea that a working class, white, right winger could be pushed over the edge by political correctness was a novelty then. Duval was great as well.

"Falling Down" was a good movie, but it was also from the "Angry White Male" liberal template. I'm surprised that Hollywood hasn't jumped on that meme again with Obama as President.
