AFTER THE FALL: Tom Magill, 22, miraculously survived a leap yesterday from this West End Avenue building -- by landing on this Dodge Charger.

Was”The Summer Of Recovery”just TOO much for Thomas Magill?

There are easier ways to get to street level from the upper floors of skyscrapers. They are called stairs and elevators. Takes a little longer but they hurt far less than taking a header onto the roof of a car or hard pavement.

George:Yes, you see, the deceased landed on my car. The splat, as it were, actually took place on the roof of my car. I can’t help but think that had it been a convertible this whole tragedy may have been averted but I’ve never been the type to buy a convertible, what with the baldness and all.
Mrs. SWEEDLER: Well I’ve known bald men who owned convertibles. They wore a hat.
George: Well then it’s all pulled down. Anyway....

I wonder if he remembers anything about what he was thinking during the fall? Did his life really flash in front of him?

New Yorkers jumping out of windows. Now what does THAT remind you of? 1929 perhaps?
Wonder if he was a day trader?

This is likely the only way to fit an adult in the back seat of a Dodge Charger.....

I wonder if he remembers anything about what he was thinking during the fall? So far, so good. So far, so good. So far, so good. So far, so good. So far, so good. So far, so good. Damn, that hurts!

The picture clearly shows he went through the back window.
