I just received a call from Newt's organization. The poor woman on the other side got an earful. I told her that while Newt is a very intelligent when it comes to the Constitution I am deeply disapppointed in Newt with him reaching out to the progressives. I asked to be taken off the list.
No Newt never! He just turns my stomach.
OK, y’all, I’m going to blow off some steam here. I got up on the wrong side of the bed (I almost said “blanket” but that isn’t the right connotation) and I’m just grumpy. But we’re out of some breakfast food and I need to get to the store. There aren’t many other customers in the store and the folks there are in the process of setting out the products for the day.
I DON’T THINK ANYONE FAILED TO COME BY ME AND GREET ME WITH A HAPPY CHEERY SMILE AND SOME WORDS OF GOOD WISHES.
I wanted to snarl at them. I’m in a snarly mood.
I did not.
But isn’t there some sort of sign I can wear that says, “Leave me alone. I’m grumpy today. It isn’t you.”
I smiled and answered everyone curteously.
