I’m concerned, of course, about the races in the west. Although I may just go to bed before the results are in. It will happen irregardless of my vigilance.

I still have not begun the middle upstairs bedroom as it is just too hot and even with the conditioner on, it’s too hot. I may just do two walls before October, then finish the room after the reunion of Roomey’s SE Asia squadrons.
I’m also looking for a very light lavender velvet. Hopefully I’ll find some in Waco or Temple, TX. Velvet is hard to find in this area. I may have to contact my girl friend in San Antonio and see if she can get me some there. It’s going to be the headboard. Our windows in this house are 65 inches high and 110 inches wide. The window wall is going to have white and lavendar lattice with a copper “vine” woven in and out and every so ofen a small light. I have an electrician friend who is going to help me. The vine will travel over the window to the lattice on the other side of the window. I love to paint, in the basement on the mural or the walls. I’m about finished with the Texas flag on the church pew sitting on the patio. I’m thinking of covering the paint with a clear acrilic, maybe 5/6/7/8 coats to make the flag look deep into the pew.

That sounds lovely and like a lot of work. Good luck. I have painted quite a few times the last 2 months and have used Kilz twice and have gotten a terrible headache both times. Must be something in it that scrambles your brain ;)

He's lead from the very start and he's maintained his lead!
In fact, it's widened and cntines to widen!
Alaskan FReepers tell me that 500 votes is a landslide.
Joe leads her by 3,000 or thereabout.

I thought you had been up all night. I considered following the results like that. But, I figured that awake or asleep the results would be what they are.
The Alaska race is great. The Arizona senate race is VERY disappointing. BUT, BEN QUAYLE won the nod for the house seat in Arizona. Y’all may recall he is the son of the much maligned Dan Quayle (who was right, Murphy Brown).
MKN, I agree. It is going to be a long time.
We had some other very good wins. Allen West in Florida, Marco Rubio too and he leads Crist by 8 this morning.
Jan Brewer won with 87%. Aside from Quayle, the dentist Paul Gosar won in AZ’s Distrcit 1, so AZ is not a complete loss.
My huge interest remains Joe Miller, but you already know that!
