If you could only choose one, which would you choose having...knowledge or wisdom? And why? Could you cite historical event(s) in support of your choice?
I like to read Psalms, Proverbs and Isaiah before going to bed.

Wisdom. Because then I would know how to use the knowledge. ;-)

obama and dhimmicrats have knowledge.
Knowledge is the collection of facts and wisdom the ability to utilize wisely those facts.
The two must be together and in synch with a lot of other factors.

You can have “Knowledge without Wisdom” but you can’t have
“Wisdom without Knowledge”.

Never mistake knowledge for wisdom. One helps you make a living; the other helps you make a life.

Well I knew Obama was going to win now I have to have the wisdom to deal with it. So wisdom is the key thing.

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom.
Charles H. Spurgeon
Knowledge comes, but wisdom lingers.

Personally I do not think that you can have wisdom without knowledge but the reverse is readily possible. I define wisdom, at least in part, as being able to make wise decisions and I cannot see this ability being present without knowledge.
On the other hand history is full of unwise people who make stupid decisions with a great deal of knowledge.

True. Also many people mistake intelligence for wisdom, despite the abundance of intelligent fools. Just look at any university faculty.

By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third, by experience, which is the most bitter.

Knowlege. Wisdom emerges from knowledge, not the other way around. Too many people today take an anti-intellectual pose I find very unappealing—”I don’t need to know all that STUFF, I know what’s REALLY important already!” That kind of sentiment is usually expressed by the ignorant who are just belligerent about their lack of knowledge.
