Sorry. Didn’t mean to offend.
Keep wearing those Bulova’s and Timex’s. Nothing metrosexual about them.
My original post referred to watches worn as a status symbol or fashion accessory.
And why wear an unnessary watch? 95 percent of your time is spent with a cell phone, a computer monitor, house clock, car clock, TV clock and/or etc....
Without a watch, where do you keep your compass and altimeter?
Through the 70s and 80s I didn’t wear a wrist watch for safety reasons, but I carried a covered pocket watch. When my job changed, I went back to, and continue to wear a wrist watch.
Someone (Malcolm X?) once said that a man who didn’t wear a watch was willing to waste the most valuable thing he had.....time.
No cellphone. No pager.
Bullshit!!!!
Not everyone’s time is spent with those devices.
If “95 percent of your time is spent with a cell phone, a computer monitor, house clock, car clock, TV clock and/or etc” you may be a metrosexual!
I subscribe to Forbes Magazine and I swear about 90% of their adverts are for watches starting at about $7,000.00. I wouldn't wear one if I were a gazillionaire.
