If it's true... well, he's hardly in a position to cast the first stone, now is he? You've missed the whole point of the story. The Pharisees needed to be smacked down because they were condemning the woman without any mercy being available. This Dunfee guy wants these women to be eternally saved and cared for here in the temporal world, not destroyed.
