Ron Sveden had been coughing for months, but doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong.
Finally, one made a startling discovery — a plant was growing in his lungs.

Had a guy in hospital..that was doing good, then not so good...and told me he inhaled a pea...couple days later he hacked that baby up...and did well again.
True story!

There was a Russian man who was growing part of a pine tree in his lung. This was reported about 5 years ago.

Words you don’t want to hear from your doctor: “Wow, would you look at that!” LOL... no kidding. I've had that happen. Many years ago I breathed in some smoke from a campfire... and somehow there was some poison oak mixed in the firewood. I had a bad systemic reaction that resulted, among other things, in my face swelling so much that I couldn't even feel where my nose or eyes were. Couldn't see at all.
When I finally got to the emergency room the doctor came in and gasped loudly and said basically that same thing. He asked if he could take some pictures-- because he'd never seen anything like it before. I said sure. I had to laugh at that. I suppose my picture is now out there somewhere in a medical textbook. :-)
