I think his acting style where he speaks so softly you can hardly hear him is annoying. Ok once it was cute but he keeps doing it.

Santino, you always were a hot head. You think you got hit bad at that toll booth, wait until the Hollywood left lets loose on you!!!

Still, it gets old when now that certain Hollywierdos get long in the tooth then they suddenly “see the light” and come out of the closet as really being conservatives all along.
I far as I’m concerned it’s nothing more than realizing that nobody watches them anymore and the spotlight is on the so-called “hot movie stars”.
This way the new found Hollywood conservatives can regain some following with conservative movie fans.

Heck ...Most of the loudmouth Hollywood rif-raf are former parking valets or were manicurists before making films; they were/are drug addicts, drunks, spouse abusers, sex addicts, etc. .... THAT'S how ‘clever’ they are!! Yup...we sure need advice on politics from THEM!!

James Caan forever; Ed Harris never. There has to be a good story or two about Mr. Caan if he is an ‘ultra-conservative’.

Other than the obvious movies .. The Godfather, A Bridge Too Far .. I particularly liked him in the role of "Mississippi" in
El Dorado with John Wayne and Robert Mitchum.

He claims he´s conservative, but clams-up on one of the most significant social issues of the day. Hmmm....

Even after all of his roles in the movies, the one thing I always remember him in was a 1980’s Parade article in which he was interviewed. There were pictures of him with his son, Scott, who was around 10 or so at the time. In fact, it was the cover picture and story. He spoke of the importance of being a father and what a joy it was.
I don't know anything about his relationships with his other children, but it seemed that he was really into his role as a father at this time. In fact, that article was a subject one day in one of my early childhood courses in college. I remember the discussion like it was yesterday. The general theme was that if all fathers could only feel what James Caan was able to express, it would be a better world.
I am glad to learn that he is conservative in his politics. He probably had to keep that fact undercover all of these years in order to acquire rolls. Perhaps others in Hollywood will soon summon the courage to speak out if they are conservatives.

Alan Bourdillion Traherne, also known as Mississippi, from the John Wayne movie “El Dorado” co-starring Robert Mitchum.

When Pop Tarts questioned him on California courts deeming Proposition 8, which bans same sex marriage, unconstitutional, he preferred to keep his lips sealed. "I don't want to comment on that. I'll let those other geniuses do that all those actors who like to find a stage to push their agendas, he said. They don't have political science degrees... I certainly don't. I'll leave it to Sean Penn or Barbara Streisand to comment on that." He didn't want to be blacklisted by the Lavender Mafia. He didn't want to be savaged by Gaystapo Tactics.
