Oscar-winner actress Patricia Neal dies at age 84

Patricia Neal, the willowy, husky-voiced actress who won an Academy Award for 1963's "Hud" and then survived several strokes to continue acting, died on Sunday. She was 84.

If either of you are Ayn Rand fans, she was the female lead in “The Fountainhead” with Gary Cooper. Quite a beautiful lady in those days.

If I remember correctly, she was married to author Roald Dahl, and had a rather serious stroke, from which she was determined to recover.
