Thank you Boehner. Don’t let us down on this one.
I’m less worried about the predominantly Christian Mexicans dropping anchor babies here - you should check out size of the Muslim families breaking the European countries’ welfare systems. I have no doubt that they are already doing this in Dearbornistan Michigan which is why it is truly crucial to end the insane birthright citizenship lottery.
Yeah. Once they can no longer give birth to automatic citizens, they’ll stay and build their own country.
Talk is cheap.
I’d say it’s worth a lot more than mere “consideration.”
Wow...really going out on a limb there, Johnny Boy?
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
“worth considering”? This is the best Boehner can muster? “worth considering” How about urgently needed as a stopgap to prevent the complete destruction of our economy and our sovereignty??? This is the mealy mouth crap you always get with Republicans. DemocRats never have a problem making statements (usually wrong) unequovocially. With repubbies you get milque toast.
THERE IS NO NEED TO CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION! The author of the constitution said that citizenship was not automatically given to illegal aliens! It was Justice Brennen who created out of thin air the right to citizenship for illegal aliens born here.
All that is needed is a law that states that you must be in the country LEGALLY to get birthright citizenship. Boehner know that it is practically impossible to amend the Constitution and is just saying this to take heat off the fact that the Republicans have done NOTHING to solve the illegal alien problem for 20 years.
Ping!
It is nice that Boehner is willing to "consider" the issue of anchor babies. Maybe he'll get around to "considering" whether Brennan's 1982 footnote that led to this perversion of the 14th Amendment was just another puddle of pee on the Constitution.
This non-committal non-comment from the non-conservative Boehner is exactly why the right-thinking citizens of this country cannot afford to let unprincipled RINO Republicans pretend to represent us. It is not so difficult to express a principled, reasoned idea as these RINOs pretend it to be.
Illegal aliens, those who have blatantly ignored and violated US immigration laws and procedures, have not subjected themselves "to the jurisdiction thereof ..."; therefore the babies they spawn on US soil are just as illegal as their parents.
Check this out:
Muslim woman with 8 kids living in Government supplied $4.2 million London Council House
near Paul McCartney,
costing $11,000 a month paid for by the Socialist Welfare State.....................
says Life in Britain is great !!!
Ya think???
And then she gets an additional $16,000 in cash each year more, in “benefits”!!!
Wow.
and again, “Why work when I can get $64,000 in benefits a year AND drive a Mercedes, a van, and have a 42 inch TV?”
The Davey family’s $1,250 -a-week state handouts pay for a four-bedroom home, top-of-the-range mod cons and two vehicles including a Mercedes people carrier.!!!
Father-of-seven Peter gave up work because he could make more living on benefits.!
Yet he and his wife Claire are still not happy with their lot.
With an eighth child on the way, they are demanding a bigger house, courtesy of the taxpayer.
Yes, demanding! Isn’t life great in Great Britain???

Lets see actions back up the words.
While a child born in the US does have birthright citizenship, there is absolutely NOTHING in the law that says that you can’t deport the parents if they are illegal.
So if illegal aliens want to leave American citizen children behind while the parents return to Mexico or El Salvador, fine, but the parents still have to go. And if the parents leave the child behind, they should be considered unfit/neglectful and therefore never get the right to enter the US legally.
Immigration and Naturalization Service v. Jong Ha Wang (1981) makes interesting reading:
http://supreme.justia.com/us/450/139/case.html
“And then, out of the blue in 1982, Justice Brennan slipped a footnote into his 5-4 opinion in Plyler v. Doe, asserting that “no plausible distinction with respect to Fourteenth Amendment ‘jurisdiction’ can be drawn between resident aliens whose entry into the United States was lawful, and resident aliens whose entry was unlawful.” (Other than the part about one being lawful and the other not.)
Brennan’s authority for this lunatic statement was that it appeared in a 1912 book written by Clement L. Bouve. (Yes, THE Clement L. Bouve — the one you’ve heard so much about over the years.) Bouve was not a senator, not an elected official, certainly not a judge — just some guy who wrote a book.” - Ann Coulter
