Does anyone have any knowledge of what the thinking at netflix is, in regards to USPS's losses, their threat to cut Saturday feliveries, and possible postage tate hiles?
Is Netflix taking this as a wake-up call to start hot footing their efforts to move more of their content onto their online 'Watch Instantly' libraries, and away from their DVD delivery service?
IMO they really need to develop this method with all due speed. And not just because I prefer my content from online, but because it may soon be their best, if not only option that they can reasonably profit from....Again,,,IMO.
But it sure would be good to know that they are going to be stepping up their efforts to present more new content for online viewing.
Typical of a “intellectual” Liberal. You can orate volumes, deftly, lucidly, and arrogantly, without saying anything of value.
Go away lib fool! I’m done with your illiterate dribble.
You my have delt with me but you didn’t best me, numb nuts and you are still a rude, obnoxious a**hole.
Hey! I know! He’s David Letterman! ;oD
...whitted?
HA ha!
Go orate someone down at the community college that teaches writing.
“You keep using that word. But I don’t think it means what you think it means.”
I don’t mind the teasing, I’ve teased before myself, in good natured ribbing. But it seems a bit snide and vain to waste time trying to correct peoples spelling and or grammar on boards. A bit “I can spell better than you can! nyah nyah nyah!” It’s more telling of a lack of Noblesse Oblige than any sign of superiority.
But back to my qualms about no more Saturday deliveries. My schedule for getting DVDs has been based on a Saturday delivry routine, so that I have the DVDs I get for Saturday nights, that being the second worst night for TV programming, (Wed being the first worst) so this would upset my schedule. I guess it wouldn’t be such a hardship, considering I still have over 50 m=selections in my ‘Instant’ queue...But one does get into routines and get unnerved when they get changed surreptitiously.
Hadn’t thought of the postage angle. But I don’t think that that is enough to ditch the pay for play paradigm currently in place for most of the content.
LOL
Since internet connection can be wonky at times, I prefer getting the DVDs. Then, again, I also prefer paper books to audio books. Maybe it’s just me.
what is a POV?
POV = point of view.
Then type it out you sub human!!!
A “subhuman” who is apparently smarter, better educated, and possessed of much more class than you.
(smirk)
Man, Oceanside must have gone *way* downhill since I was last there...Do you still have the pier, or was it torn down to protect all the poor little fishies?
I’m sure that the people at PBS will be interested in the fact that you want to execute them...Not sayin the thought hasn’t crossed my mind as well, but usually only when they put “contemporary” crap on Masterpiece Theatre.
