Don't be silly. Are you honestly saying that you see no practical difference between your average buyer and an Islamic building on the site of massive Islamic terrorism? Truly? Because I'll tell you, I believe in the Constitution, too, but, as they say, it is NOT a suicide pact. Furthermore, the Constitution was intended as a limitation on the power of the federal government, not as a means for the federal government to dictate to each local municipality how they will run their affairs. If the people of New York don't want a mosque on the 9/11 site, there is no principle in the Constitution or anywhere else that says they have to have one.

I live near NYC and enjoyed going there when Mayor Guiliani was in office.
We would go down during holiday time when Rudy was mayor, the city was just clean and ran well. No problems in moving around and felt safe.
We have gone to the city one time under Mayor Bloomberg and won’t be back. The city has back to the filthy city that was before Rudy.
Bloomberg wants the city to be like Europe. NYC will never be a European city.
