Sometimes people here on FR have harsh things to say about Muslims and Arabs. I have been guilty of this myself. This obituary is a good reminder to all of us that we are to judge people as individuals, as there are good decent patriotic citizens of all faiths and colors. Lt. Col. Mohamed sounds like a hell of a good man and a real American patriot. It's plain he has done more for this country than a great many armchair warriors around here.
Rest in peace, sir.

His name sounds like his family was Iranian (Persian).
What a career. 100+ missions as an F-105 pilot *and* four combat jumps? Wow.

What a great life! If only most of them could be like Col. Mohamed. We thank him for his service.

I'm eagerly awaiting the comments on the "silver beaver" award.
Just what does one do to earn this distinction?
