LOL..indeed!
You are so sweet, tiapam. Lovely graphic and sentiments. I appreciate you!
Thats the ticket....right on!
I didn’t get to do too much today! Things have nit worked out for me today. I am going to tell my story in a few minutes! Sorry you are not here too so I could REALLY tell you my story!
|
Well, I’ll save it for later (again)! Just kidding! Sorry about your unfortunate experience. Don’t blame you for leaving.
Yep! Thought so myself!!
:)
I’m going to share this story and I need your opinions when I finish! LOL!
My dental appointment was at 2:45 and I always get ready 30 minutes ahead, no matter what I have planned. It gives me a few minutes to sit down and rest and relax. I would especially do that for a doctor’s or dentist’s appointment.
I arrived for my appointment 5 minutes before the appointment date. I have never expected to be taken as soon as I arrive. Below is my reactions to the time.
2:45 Not expected to be taken.
3:00 I’m fine with that.
3:15 Starting to wonder!
3:30 Getting very anxious, asking the girl questions!
3:35 I am fit to be tied and very angry! I walk out quickly!
I waited in that office 50 minutes. When last I asked the girl how much longer it would be, she said probably not long now! After being there for 50 minutes, I wasn’t sure what “probably not long now” would be.
Now, I left this until last and will let you draw your conclusions as to what could have happened? They called me about 30 minutes before I left the house and asked would I like to change appointment times with a man who had a terrible toothache and for me to come at 4:30. I told her “no, I had been so nervous over getting 2 teeth pulled and I wanted to get it over with! She was nice and didn’t act upset that I didn’t change. And of course, I was just as nice with her. What do you think could have happened?
I asked the girl once if the dentist was working on a man or lady. She said it was a lady. Now, when I arrived at their office and they had told me they had an emergency and my appointment was going to be delayed for a certain amount of time, I probably could have understand that and made a decision whether to wait or make another appointment.
Did they trick me or not? Was I wrong to walk out?
Next to last paragraph....’understood’ NOT ‘understand’~~~
By the way, I have been going to the same dentist for many years!
They will have to call and apologize to me before I go back. They may do that and they may not but I do think someone lied to me.
But isn’t it funny how they always call the afternoon before to remind us we have an appointment? They don’t want to lose any of their time but ‘my time isn’t important! LOL!
Jaycee, I have waited up to TWO HOURS to see the Doctor.
It makes me so mad that I always present with high Blood pressure, and have been put on medicine.
However, even after going a week without meds, if I check my bp myself, it is NORMAL.
What does THAT tell you?
Now, they use to call that “white coat syndrome”!!
You’re a better woman than I am. I wouldn’t wait on any doctor for 2 hours! I would wait the normal amount of wait time but no more! Never 2 hours! My time is valuable to me, too!
You are waiting so long it causes your B.P. to go up! Mine was probably up this afternoon.
I have found a new way to wait. I bring my drum sticks and practice .
Are you trying to agitate them to death, M. L.?? LOL! What do you practice ON with the drumsticks?
My 1st.thought: They went ahead and took the man with the bad tooth and as you waited 50 minutes, because of an emergency, it might have been one in the same, but didn’t want you to know. I’m probably wrong, but the two seem odd.(It’s like they got him in before you got there and called it an emergency)! It’s an uneducated guess!
You had every right to walk out! And I feel so bad for you! I’ve had some experiences where I just didn’t go back and a new office would get my old records.
My gutt feeling-they weren’t up front with you!
