I was out running errands the other day and there was a weird picture laying on the printer when I got back.
Can a virus do this or do I have a teenager who's possibly up to no good?
“...it doesn’t take but one wrong click and virus or even worse, freaky nasty hardcore stuff.”
I was asked to look at someone’s home computer that was slow and acting weird. They suspected Junior (age 14) was looking at porn. Boy, was he! The kid had downloaded videos that would make Hugh Heffner blush. He also downloaded 21 types of viruses, trojans, spyware, etc and had 700 infected Windows system files. The system was so hosed that I had no choice but to wipe the hard drive. I also persuaded the parents to let me install Linux. That was months ago and they and the kids have had no problem using Linux since.
If your child denies it then it's most likely your cat....children would never lie.
No crap? I've had a virus for years that keeps stealing socks out of my dryer............Wow!
If it were a virus replicating over and over, lord knows what caca could happen before you get to the point of having to format the whole computer.
I run no virus protection software but do have virus detection stuff I run every so often.
For the most part no problem unless someone uses my computer to click ads and so forth.
This.
This happened with my son a few years back.
To handle it, I asked him if he would be willing to protect his sister. He said yes. I told him the pictures he had seen were of someone's sister or daughter.
Odd how he doesn't visit those sites any more. And I do check.
can you forward me the picture so i can research this more closely.
thanks
Dude, it’s porn. A naked woman! He’s a teenage boy. If it’s adult, not fetish, and straight, count your blessings!
Frankly,I’d have dropped the whole thing. Might not have even asked him.
Oh! Your his mom.
Well that explains the shock. What does Dad think?
Now, the question you REALLY don’t want answered is WHY did he PRINT these pictures? ;-)
Nice approach. Thanks for posting.
