Hello Freepers,

I am asking that you keep a family in your thoughts and prayers. The husband of my wife's high school friend was killed in the Elmendorf plane crash yesterday.

It was a very sad day for all of us. He leaves behind his wife and two sons.

Prayers up for this family.

Thanks Freepers.

Prayers to the family. Make sure that they use the CACO that will be assigned to them. Many families don’t feel like talking about benefits and other things but it is important to do so. I know it sounds cruel to speak about this but if they don’t it will be worse in the end.

May the Comfort of the Holy Spirit fall upon the hearts of all those who mourn the loss of this beloved son, husband, father and friend.

Isaiah 41:10 ~ Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

These crashes can hit close to home. Prayers up for the family and friends.

During my son's first assignment as a 2nd LT, he was at Luke AFB in Phoenix when a fighter crashed (2006). He stood guard at the pilots home, limiting access to the family. He was very humbled by the experience.
